Seven women are entered for Italy at the Olympia in Las Vegas this weekend, in four divisions. Two of them are there for the first time, and one is on the Olympia stage for the fifth time. The first woman already qualified for next year’s Ms. Olympia is Italian too.
Tonight: Nadia Capotosto
Nadia Capotosto is the only Italian in the Ms. Olympia final. Tonight is her fourth Ms. Olympia: she was tenth in 2021, fifth in 2024 and eighth in 2025.
On our record she has 7 pro wins in 16 shows, and no one in tonight’s field has more except Andrea Shaw. Her 2026 season so far: first at the Toronto Pro Supershow, third at the Alina Popa Classic Pro behind Anastasia Korableva and Alida Opre, seventh at the Rising Phoenix. The rest of the Italian team
Alessia Facchin, Bikini, is at her fifth Olympia: she competed in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. She has four pro wins, the latest at the 2026 Russia Pro.
Anna Setlak and Alice Marchisio, Bikini, are both at their third Olympia in a row. Setlak won three pro shows in 2024 and 2025. Marchisio won four pro shows between 2023 and 2025.
Patrizia Vaccaro, Bikini, is back for a second Olympia, after winning the Koloseum Italy Pro and the ProMuscle Italy Pro in 2025.
Sara Pozzer, Figure, and Carlotta Tonelli, Wellness, are making their Olympia debut. Pozzer won the 2026 Mr Big Evolution Pro this spring. Tonelli has 22 IFBB Pro shows on her NPC record, after winning the 2021 Amateur Olympia Italy in Wellness.

Already booked for 2027: Anna Terzo
On 13 September 2026, Anna Terzo stepped on an IFBB Pro stage in Women’s Bodybuilding for the first time. It was the Europa Pro Championships in Germany, and she won it. The field was five: Terzo first, then Emilia Dimitrova-Balkova, Annabell Serfling, Hagit Seindlis and Ivana Dvorakova (NPC contest archive).
That win put her name on the IFBB Pro League’s 2027 Olympia qualified list. When we read it on 25 September, hers was the only name under Ms. Olympia.
She did not come up through Women’s Bodybuilding. Her amateur record is in Women’s Physique: first at the 2023 Invictus Cup, first in her class at the 2023 Panatta FIBO Pro Qualifier, and first at the 2024 Flex Weekend Pro Qualifier (NPC contest archive).
Before them: Barbara Carità
Barbara Carità won the 2018 IFBB San Marino Pro, was second at the 2019 Omaha Pro, and eighth at the 2020 Ms. Olympia (NPC contest archive). On our record she was competing internationally as far back as 2002, when she was second at the Mediterranean Amateur Championships.
