Michaela Baumer-Zink needed nine weeks to go from her first NPC stage to an IFBB Pro League podium. Three shows, two wins, a pro card and a second place, between 28 March and the end of May 2026.
Two shows to a pro card
Her record in the federation’s own archive starts on 28 March 2026, at the NPC Worldwide Baden-Württemberg Championship in Germany. She entered the novice Women’s Physique class and won it.
Three weeks later, on 17 April, she was back on stage at the NPC Worldwide FIBO Championship Pro Qualifier. She won Women’s Physique Class B, then the overall title against the winners of Class A and Class C. The overall winner of each division earned an IFBB Pro card. Michaela was one of them.
Six weeks later, a pro podium
She did not wait for a season to pass. Her professional debut came at the 2026 Spanish Masters Pro, held from 29 to 31 May at the Gran Casino in Aranjuez, near Madrid. The show ran Masters 40+ divisions only, and it counted toward qualification for the 2027 Masters Olympia.
In Women’s Physique Masters 40+ the judges placed Nikki Beattie first, with a score of 3, and Michaela second, with 6 (the lower score wins). Tanja Schröder was third. Second place, at her first professional show.
