She returned to the Olympia stage in 1988, improving significantly to place sixth, marking her peak performance at the sport's premier competition. Following that result, her placements declined over the subsequent two years, finishing twelfth at the 1989 Ms. Olympia and sixteenth at the 1990 Ms. Olympia, after which her competitive record ends. Oliveira lived from 1960 to 2018.
